Being a fatass in Boston

Since I was too lazy to start this blog from the beginning of time. I recently went to Boston in April. Here are some food places that I tried in Boston. I basically travel to try new food. Food is the reason why I live!

Mediterranean Salmon @ Legal Seafoods, Longwharf, Boston, MA-3 1/2 fat asses
Included hummus with pita chips. Salmon was plain by itself, no flavor. The rice was plain, the white sauce was good, the pita was too salty, if you put everything together it tasted alright, but everything by itself was bland!

Creme Burlee @ Finale's, Boston MA-4 fat asses
This was delicious! but for a fat ass like me, I could eat like 10 of these and be good. It was too small! They should have it in different sizes.

Mixed Seafood Pasta with Lobster, Giacomo's Ristorante, Boston MA-5 fat asses!
I don't normally like Italian food, but this was the best pasta and sauce I have ever tried! I went to Boston's Italian district, and we waited an hour in line because this place had good reviews from yelp! It was totally worth it! The homemade sauce was just right, I think I licked the plate clean.
Clam Chowder @ Legal Seafoods, Boston, MA- 5 fat asses
Had big ass clam pieces. I tried clam chowder everywhere in California, but this is hands down the best one! SF clam chowder is good too, but not enough clam pieces, SD, SLO, not comparable. I wish they sold this exact clam chowder in a can and ship it to California to show what real clam chowder tastes like.

Cannoli at Mike's Pastry, Boston MA- 5 fat asses
My first time trying a cannoli, and boy I wasn't disappointed! The cannoli was rather large and the outer shell was a right crunchy. The creme wasn't too thick and wasn't too sweet. Mike, you must be a fat ass because all your stuff was delicious for fat asses everywhere!

Boston Creme Cake @ Finale's, Boston, MA-3 fat asses
The presentation was pretty, the cake was quite small and the chocolate overpower the creme. It was okay.

Bun Rieu & Pho Tai @ Xinh Xinh, Boston MA- 2 fat asses
This place was suppose to have the "best Vietnamese food" in Boston, so we went, and the Pho sucked ass! It was watered down like poor ass Vietnamese trying to save the broth. It may be good for the area, but from all the Pho places that I have tried, this place was horrible. My fat ass only finished it because I was hungry!
Assorted Crab @ The Barking Crab, Boston, CA-5 fat asses
Included 2lbs snow crab, 1lbs dungeness crab, 1lb crab legs. There were 26 people in front of us and the hostess couldn't give us a time, so we thought it was going to be hours before we got called in, but then 10 minutes later she called our party of 3. We got lucky! This assorted crab was juicy, boiled and seasoned to the right tasting. It wasn't plain or too salty. I ate it all in 15 minutes!

Breakfast bagel @ Finagle Bagel, Boston MA-3 fat asses
Quite disappointed...I thought the bagel was going to be more "meaty". My boyfriend is from NYC and rave about how the east coast have the best bagels and far different from the west coast. I tried a NYC bagel he brought home for me once, and it was great! I was expecting this to be great too, but there wasn't enough bread, it wasn't even big like the one I tried! I think I would have been better off buying a bagel from Ralph's or Costco.
